“your beats sound like something kid cudi would fuck with…”
and i know they mean it as a compliment
but that shit is infuriating…
my face when:

Marc Decoca - “Elevator Music” (Bandcamp, 2011)
Perpetually underrated in his attempts at both trap rap and boom bap, Atlanta’s Marc Decocoa instead dips his toes into the hazy pool of drumless based rap for his latest effort. Or cannonballs, really.
I loved that Bigger Fish shit he did mayne…
i feel like im gonna see juicy j on one of those celebrity rehab shows in a few years and that scares me
damn bruh, never even thought of that but the probability of that happening is extremely high

With this mix of 13 tracks, I hope to show the evolution of Main Attrakionz. Some songs date back to 2009, almost 3 years ago, and show Squadda & Mondre already touching on the cloudy and blissful sound that would become their hallmark. Many of these songs are and will continue to be my favorite work by MAz, because it is so raw; they have nothing yet everything to prove, making music pretty much for themselves and each other, before the outside world at large took notice. I hope this collection proves why Main Attrakionz are the “Lo-Fi Kings”, and I urge those who enjoy their 2011 work to explore the roots.
finna listen to this right about now…
then felt really dirty for taking part in the compiling of that pointless fucking list…
